* Exported from MasterCook II * German Cucumber Salad Recipe By : Helen Jolly Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Hjolly Salads Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- --SALAD-- 2 medium cucumber -- sliced thin 4 green onions -- sliced thin 3 small tomatoes -- sliced 2 tablespoons fresh parsley -- snipped --DRESSING-- 1/4 cup sour cream 1/4 teaspoon prepared mustard 2 tablespoons fresh dill -- minced 1 tablespoon vinegar 1 tablespoon milk 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper In a bowl, combine all salad ingredients. Combine dressing ingredients; pour over cucumber mixture and toss gently. Cover and chill for at least an hour. Makes 4 to 6 servings. Note: This recipe came from a man who ran his own inn in Germany. It's a very cool, light salad with an exhilarating taste that's delicious any time of the year.
