1 lb.   hamburger
 1 cup   bread crumbs
 1/2 cup cold water
 1       egg
 1 cup   grated carrots
 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
 pinch   salt
 pinch   pepper
 1 can   tomato soup
 1       onion, chopped
 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
 2 tsp.  vinegar
 1 tsp.  lemon juice
 Combine first 7 ingredients. Form into 1 balls and brown in frying pan with
 a small amount of oil.
 Make a sauce from remaining ingredients and boil for 10 minutes. Transfer
 meatballs to a casserole dish and pour sauce over top. Bake in moderate oven
 for about 1 hour  Serve over steamed rice.
