1/2 head shredded lettuce
 1 cup chopped celery
 1 tbsp. minced parsley
 2 green onions and tops (chopped)
 1 can mandarin oranges (drained)
 1/4 cup carmalized almonds
 1/2 tsp. salt
 Dash of black pepper
 2 tbsp. sugar
 2 tbsp. vinegar
 1/4 cup salad oil
 To make carmalized almonds:
 (put 2 tbsp. sugar and almonds in small heavy pan
 and stir all the time until sugar is dissolved on
 low heat.  Allow mixture to cool)
 Toss all ingredients in salad
 To make dressing:
 Put ingredients in jar and shake vigorously.
 Then pour over the salad.
