                               CABBAGE SALAD

    3      pounds        cabbage
    1                    green pepper -- chopped
      1/2                onion -- chopped fine
    2      cups          sugar
    1      cup           vinegar
    1      cup           oil
    1      tablespoon    salt
    2      tablespoons   celery seed
    1      tablespoon    sugar
 
 mix grated cabage, pepper, onion and sugar in large bowl.  Boil remaining
 ingredients for 1 minutes.  Pour over cabbage mixture.  Let sit for 24 hours
 before eating.
