                             COTTAGE COLE SLAW

   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

      1/2  cup           cottage cheese
      1/2  cup           mayonnaise
    3      tablespoons   vinegar
    1 1/2  teaspoons     onion juice
    6      cups          fine shredded cabbage
      3/4  teaspoon      salt
      3/4  teaspoon      caraway seed -- optional
      1/2  medium        green pepper -- chopped
    2      cups          apples -- diced
 
 Combine cottage cheese, mayonnaise.  Add vinegar, onion juice, seasonings, and
 caraway seed.  Combine dressing with cabbage, apples and green peppers.  Place
 in a large bowl lined with cabbage leaves.  Garnish with cottage cheese and
 green pepper.  You may decorate to suit the occasion.  Chill.  Makes 8-10
 servings.
