      title: parmesan beet salad

   servings: 6
       1 c  olive oil
     1/3 c  red wine vinegar
       2 t  parmesan cheese
       1 t  worcestershire sauce
     1/2 t  hot mustard
       1 t  kosher salt
     1/2 t  freshly ground black pepper
     1/2 t  paprika
     1/2 t  sugar
     1/2 t  parsley flakes
     1/8 t  garlic powder
       2 lb beet
       3 c  sweet red onion
       6    lettuce leaves
 combine all ingredients, except lettuce leaves-mix well cover and chill
 for 4-6 hours 
 arrange lettuce leaves onto individual dishes 
 drain salad and arrange onto lettuce leaves
 serve slighltly chilled or at room temperature
