* Exported from MasterCook * Nachos, Danny Style Recipe By : Wildrose Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Mexican Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 8 corn tortillas 1/2 cup Mexican Style Shredded Cheese **FOR THE SALSA** 3 medium tomatoes -- chopped 1 small onion -- chopped 1 yellow bell pepper -- chopped 3 cloves garlic -- pressed 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro -- chopped 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar hot sauce -- to taste 1. Combine all the ingredients to make the salsa. This can be done the night before so that the flavors can mingle. 2. Cut the tortillas into quarters. Place on baking sheet and bake in 350° oven until crisp, about 10 minutes. 3. Place a spoonful of salsa on each chip and top with shredded cheese. Place under broiler until cheese melts, about 2 minutes.
