                           Brazilian Feyoada Rice

    3      tbsp          oil
    1 1/2  c             long-grain rice
    1                    onion, peeled -- thinly sliced
    2                    tomatoes, peeled, -- seeded and chopped
    2                    green chili peppers -- seeded and chopped
    1 1/2  c             beef broth
      2/3  c             golden raisins
    1 1/2  tsp           salt
 
 Heat oil in med skillet.  Add rice and onion, cook over very low heat for 10 mi
 n.  Stir in tomatoes and green chili peppers.  Pour in beef broth, slowly, to a
 void spattering.  Stir in raisins and salt.  Bring rice to a boil, lower heat a
 nd cook for 20-25 min.
