---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: #772388 Lebanese Mashed Potatoes With Meat Categories: Lebanese, Main dish Yield: 1 servings 4 lg Potatoes, boiled 2 tb Butter 1/2 c Milk 1 ts Salt ----------------------------------FILLING---------------------------------- 1 Onion, chopped 1/2 lb Lamb meat 1/4 c Pine nuts 1 sm Can mushrooms, chopped 1 ts Salt 1 ts Allspice ----------------------------------TOPPING---------------------------------- 2 tb Butter, cut in sm. pieces Bread crumbs Mash potatoes with butter, salt, and milk. Prepare filling. Fry meat with seasonings. Add onions. Add pine nuts and mushrooms. Fry well. Spread 1/2 of potato mixture in bottom of greased pan. Spread filling over. Cover with remaining potatoes. Dot with butter. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 250 degrees for 25 minutes.
