                             Lemon Milk Sherbet

   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method
 --------  ------------  --------------------------------
    1      Qt            Milk
    1 1/2  C             Sugar
                         Rind Of 1 Lemon -- grated
    2                    Lemons -- juice only
 
 Stir milk and sugar until sugar is dissolved.  Freeze until it begins to
 thicken.  Add rind and juice.  Freeze, stirring often.
 
 Serves 6 to 8
