1/2 c butter
 1 c sugar
 3 eggs
 Dash salt
 1 c all-purpose flour
 3/4 c chocolate syrup, canned
 2 t vanilla
 3/4 c chopped pecans (or walnuts)
 Cream butter, sugar and eggs until creamy in large bowl.  Add salt.  Stir
 in flour and mix well.  Add chocolate syrup, vanilla and nuts.  Stir
 well.  Pour mixture into greased 9 square pan and smooth top.  Bake at
 350 for 35 minutes.
