       Title: Becky’s Louisiana Spoon Bread

       Yield: 6 Servings
    1.00 c  Cornmeal
    3.00 c  Milk; scalded
    2.00 ts Salt
    1.00 ts Sugar
    1.00 tb Butter; melted
    3.00 ea Egg yolks; beaten
    3.00 ea Egg whites; stifly beaten
   After scalding the milk in a saucepan over high heat, reduce to low
   and add cornmeal.  Cook 5 minutes.  Add salt and cool slightly. Add
   the butter and sugar then add the egg yolks, stirring rapidly and
   mixing well.
    Fold in the egg whites.  Bake in a greased baking dish 350 degrees
   about 45 minutes.  Serve immediately.
