RecipeSource: A Web Site for Everyone

You can find almost anything on the Internet these days, including many things you probably don't want to. Fortunately, there are a number of tools available to help you weed out those with content you may find objectionable. In order to keep RecipeSource accessible to those with such filters, we have had our site rated by a number of the systems used by these tools, to mark our site as one not containing any sex or violence.

Unfortunately some systems that automatically scan for certain words are sometimes confused by RecipeSource, since they see words like “breasts” and don't realize we're talking about cooking chicken. If you encounter a service like this that blocks RecipeSource, please let us know so we can contact them to straighten out the matter.

Our web site has been rated with the following content-rating systems:

Labelled with ICRA SafeSurf

While these services have rated our site as "safe" for children to view, please remember that children should always have supervision in the kitchen, and many of our recipes involve equipment that it is not safe for young children to operate alone (such as knives, blenders, ovens, etc.).

If you use a system not rated here and would like to see RecipeSource register with it, please drop us a line and we'll see what we can do. (We cannot and will not guarantee that nothing on our site could be offensive to anyone. For instance, some of our vegan friends are quite offended by our large meat recipes section, and many cultures & religions have very different ideas about what is and is not acceptable to eat.)
